Throughout the day, you will explore a range of movements and exercises which target all areas of the body and help to improve postural alignment, strength, mobility and flexibility. This is also an opportunity for you to learn more about the importance of food and the impact it can have on your health, whilst gaining practical tips on how to discover the healthiest version of yourself. You will leave the day with greater understanding of how your body moves and functions in injury and in health, having relaxed and restored in the beautiful surroundings of Southend Barns, empowering you to achieve your goals for the year ahead - the perfect way to start your new year!
The day will include 3 Physio-led Pilates classes, a Nutritional workshop and a guided mindfulness and relaxation session. A delicious lunch and refreshments will also be provided throughout the day, along with time to relax and unwind and have some dedicated 'me time'.
Throughout the weekend we will be enabling you to take
control of your body, helping you to gain the most from your Pilates practice,
and allowing you to take the time out to concentrate on your own fitness and
well-being needs. Whether you are a complete beginner or experienced in Pilates,
we will be able to tailor the exercises to suit you, helping you to achieve
your goals for the weekend, whether they be to focus on your technique,
challenge your body or relax and restore. The ‘body MOT’ with our
Physiotherapist provides you with the opportunity to discuss any concerns, niggles
or stubborn injuries. You can then discover ways you can incorporate Pilates
into your day-to-day life to address these niggles, help prevent re-occurrences
and help to improve your overall sense of well-being. Our approach is designed
to be achievable, personal and supportive, allowing you to learn new things and
have fun doing it! The beautiful surroundings, luxury accommodation and time
for relaxation will also allow you to indulge in some well-deserved ‘me time’.

Set in the picturesque Sussex countryside, Brooklands Barn is a beautifully restored 19th century barn, with luxury accommodation & an open plan living area.
The beautiful rooms are mostly ensuite, or they have easy access to a bathroom. You can choose the option that would work best for you.
The newly built studios and treatment rooms provide us with dedicated space for Pilates, and if the weather is in our favour, we can use the 2 acres of stunning grounds for our classes! The
indoor heated swimming pool and outdoor sauna provide you with that 'me time'.
We are able to accommodate a maximum of 18 people per retreat, providing you
with plenty of space to kick back & relax!
